The Deep State and mainstream media are in shock as a new poll shows their spy campaign against President Trump has backfired, with a shocking 69 percent of Americans believing Congress should investigate Barack Obama for illicitly spying on Trump’s campaign advisers.

A spy campaign the Deep State had intended to use to oust President Trump from office on fake charges could instead lead to a criminal investigating of top Obama officials, and even the former President himself.

CNN, through gritted teeth, reports:

In one point of partisan agreement over Mueller’s work, 69% think Congress ought to investigate the origins of the Justice Department’s inquiry into Russian interference in the 2016 election, including 76% of Democrats, 69% of independents and 62% of Republicans.

That’s higher than the 58 percent who believe Congress should investigate whether Trump obstructed justice during the Russia probe.

It’s also interesting that more Democrats than Republicans support investigating the origins, as the only likely people to be criminally prosecuted as a result would be Obama officials — showing Democrats are so stricken with Trump Derangement Syndrome they simply want to keep digging until they find something, no matter who it may hurt.

While the spy campaign against Trump was intended to set up his impeachment and removal from office, CNN’s poll finds only 37 percent of Americans believe Trump should be impeached, with 58 percent opposed.

When asked whether they feel “strongly” on the matter of impeachment, only 34 percent of Americans strongly back impeaching Trump, with 45 percent strongly opposed.
