Is he okay? Biden gun policy based on his belief ‘Judge Dredd’ is real

In a bizarre rant, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden unveiled a national gun policy that appears to be based on his belief the 1995 Sylvester Stallone move “Judge Dredd” is real.

“If I get elected president of the United States of America with your help, if that happens, guns, we have the capacity now in a James Bond-style to make sure no one can pull a trigger unless their DNA and fingerprint is on it. We have that capacity to do it now. You know it,” claimed Biden at a New York City campaign event.

Biden then went on to further strangely claim “the gun manufacturers” covered up the existence of this gun by secretly threatening to “shut down” the stores offering it.

No one knows what he’s talking about.

There’s no such thing as a sensor that can match DNA through touch and such a gun does not exist in real life.

So where did he get the idea there’s a gun that recognizes DNA and fingerprints?

Biden appears to be describing a combination of two fictional guns reported in, of all places, the Kremlin-controlled “Russia Today.”

“The idea of a futuristic gun that would only yield to its owner’s wishes has been around for decades – as far back as the Lawmaker operated by comic book hero Judge Dredd in the 1970s that was activated by his DNA, and as recently as James Bond’s weapon in latest film Skyfall, which recognizes only his palm print,” RT reported on Feb. 25, 2014.

A search finds RT appears to be describing the “Lawgiver” sidearm from the 1995 “Judge Dredd” movie, which he may have seen.

Biden’s gun control plan appears to be based entirely on either a Russian propaganda outlet incorrectly describing a fictional gun from a 1995 Stallone movie, or Biden having seen the movie and 24 years later remembering it as a real event.
