Liberal sob mob threatens New York Times over Trump headline

A panicked, grovelling New York Times changed a headline and printed new editions of its newspaper in response to threats from liberals outraged over an accurate Trump headline.

After Trump addressed the nation, urged unity and denounced white nationalism, the Times ran the story with the accurate headline “Trump Urges Unity Vs. Racism.”

That sent liberals into a tear-filled tantrum, who demanded the headline be changed to attack Trump despite the fact they were the ones calling on him to issue the statement.

“Not sure “TRUMP URGES UNITY VS. RACISM” is how I would have framed the story,” tweeted liberal statistician Nate Silver, whose flawed poll analysis predicted Hillary Clinton has a 93% chance of beating Trump.

He could not explain anything wrong with the headline.

Screeching, deranged liberals flooded the Times‘ Twitter feed to announce they were cancelling their subscriptions because the headline hurt their feelings, and offering others a link where they could cancel theirs.

“Unbelievable,” replied failing Democrat presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke, who is trying to resurrect his campaign with foul-mouthed outrage performances to reporters.

“Is this the day I cancel my @nytimes subscription? I’ve threatened a lot since that Comey front page in late October 2016. But I love so much of it. Still…yeah, I think so. This is disgusting. I’m with @BetoORourke here,” replied screechy liberal writer Joan Walsh.

Still thirsty for attention, Walsh kept tweeting.

“I canceled my subscription. I know a lot of folks will tell me I’m wrong. I will miss it. But I can’t keep rewarding such awful news judgment. “Trump Urges Unity Against Racism” is almost as bad as their full-page Comey letter coverage just before 2016 election. Nobody learns,” Walsh added.

“It’s time for @DeanBaquet to step down as editor of the @NYTimes and for me to cancel my subscription. This headline in tomorrow’s paper is irresponsible and insulting. Enough,” clucked liberal writer and podcaster Alex Mohajer.

“Cancel the @nytimes . It excuses vicious white nationalism. Disgusting,” whined another liberal writer, Tom Watson.

Bullied by thousands of liberals claiming they were cancelling, the Times changed the headline to read “Assailing hate, but not guns” in later editions.

Unlike the original headline, that headline is a lie. Trump proposed new restrictions on gun rights.

On Wednesday Trump praised the initial headline in a tweet, saying it “was the correct description… by the Failing New York Times”. He said the paper was forced to change the description because “Radical Left Democrats went absolutely CRAZY! Fake News – That’s what we’re up against…”
