The impeachment votes were hardly counted before Republican Senators Charles E. Grassley (Iowa) and Ron Johnson (Wis.) sent off a letter to James Murray, Director of the Secret Service requesting information on Hunter Biden and any trips he may have made with his father to China or Ukraine.

We write to request information about whether Hunter Biden used government-sponsored travel to help conduct private business, to include his work for Rosemont Seneca and related entities in China and Ukraine.

Sens. Charles E. Grassley (Iowa) and Ron Johnson (Wis.)

The Trump farango has opened the path to gratuitous impeachment charges, and if Joe Biden ever makes it to the White House you can bet dollars to doughnuts that his family’s involvement in Ukraine will be first on the list of possible charges. Then, there will be China. This is a snare of Pelosi and Schiff’s making and it will trap the Democrats in the end. They were so certain that Trump had withheld aid to Ukraine in order to get dirt on the Bidens that they impeached over it. Sadly for them, the Ukrainians didn’t even back up their story and the heartland recognized it for what it was: a witch-hunt. But the attention on Ukraine has also put the spotlight on the corruption within the Ukrainian oil industry. And the willingness of prominent Democrats to profit from it.

This letter requests that the Secret Service provides any instances when Hunter Biden traveled with the protective security detail during the time his father, Joe Biden, was vice president, as well as when he flew on government planes. Hunter Biden sat on the board of Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma from 2014 to 2019.

Right now there is no accusation of wrongdoing but the guy was being paid long thousands of dollars a week despite having no oil experience and not speaking Ukrainian. The senators are right to ask whether tax-payer funds were used to promote Hunter Biden’s personal fortunes.
