Biden’s comment about a missing business partner apparently refers to Ye Jianming, the founder and former chairman of CEFC China Energy, a company at the center of allegations related to Hunter Biden’s business dealings. Ye has not been seen since he was detained in China in March 2018 on charges related to bribery.
