By striking down the Biden regime’s unlawful COVID-19 vaccine mandate, SCOTUS has signaled its agreement with this basic tenet of a well-functioning and free society. https://t.co/AnZOqb3Lw7— Heritage Foundation (@Heritage) January 13, 2022
The Supreme Court has blocked President Biden’s employer vaccine mandate.
The original order which went into effect on Monday was expected to impact over 80 million American workers. Employers with over 100 workers would be required to receive the Covid-19 vaccine or face fines and penalties.
The Supreme Court upheld the Department of Health and Human Services vaccine requirement for certain healthcare workers.
The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to block the OSHA vaccine mandate for businesses. SCOTUS ruled 5-4 to keep HHS mandate for health workers, with Kavanaugh and Roberts joining the liberal justices.
We will now see which employers continue to enforce mandatory vaccines when they don’t have to.
The Supreme Court blocked President Biden‘s OSHA mandate, which was blatantly and egregiously unconstitutional. The principle is simple: The president is not a king with the power to do whatever he wants regardless of the law and the facts.— Justin Amash (@justinamash) January 13, 2022
