Horse drugs are good now?

While we were berated for trying to access well-researched traditional, multi-species drugs like Ivermectin to protect us against COVID, when the shoe is on the other foot the armies of the Progressive Left are pressing for abortifacients and are going so far as to share recipes and sources for them.

The Four Thieves Vinegar Collective first demonstrated how to make Misoprostol tablets, which are used to induce an abortion, at the Please Try This at Home conference referenced in the Tweet above.

Mixael Laufer, who runs the collective, has published a video explaining how to make the pills at home. Four Thieves Vinegar is a volunteer network of hackers who develop DIY medical technologies which they share with the public to spite Big Pharma and the $$$$ they charge for life-saving – and this case life-taking – medicines like Misoprostol.

In most uses, Misoprostol reduces stomach acid and helps protect the stomach from damage that can be caused by taking a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

When legitimately prescribed, it comes with many warnings that it can cause birth defects, premature birth, uterine rupture, miscarriage, or incomplete miscarriage and dangerous uterine bleeding. It’s so dangerous to pregnancies that patients are required to show a negative pregnancy test before starting treatment and are recommended to abstain or use effective birth control to prevent pregnancy during treatment.

Dr Laufer is very explicit about his instructions to make “your own abortion pills at home”. In the video, he explains that, besides being used to medically induce abortions, misoprostol is also used to treat ulcers in horses, making it relatively easy to get misoprostol powder from veterinary suppliers.

At this point we recall the use of Ivermectin (in countries not tainted with anti-Trump fervor) to control COVID. Ivermectin, which is used to control parasites in horses, was for a while easier for humans to get without a prescription but because the president and Joe Rogan supported its use, it was subjected to a media shitstorm and ultimately removed from the shelves.
