Command economies love talking to corporationists. They understand mutual greed and bending the rules because they MAKE the rules. They all know that Biden is just a husk – and an offensive one at that. They were miffed about Biden calling Xi “a dictator”. But China only wants to boost its GDP and relevance. They are worried the trickle of US businesses relocating out of China will become a river and Xi was here to head this off at the pass.
Access to the Xi Jinping dinner was expensive so only the mega corporations could send a representative. Executives spent $40,000 to dine with Chinese President Xi Jinping at a swanky business dinner in California.
