The Pentagon is shaking up its press access, kicking out four major outlets—The New York Times, Politico, National Public Radio, and NBC News. In their place, the Pentagon is granting access to OANN, Breitbart, HuffPost, and the New York Post.
Officials say it’s part of a new “media rotation program” to give different outlets a chance at in-house reporting. With these changes, expect a very different tone in Pentagon press coverage.
Here’s the announcement:

BREAKING: Pete Hegseth has just removed The NYT, NBC, NPR, and Politico out of their Pentagon press offices.
