Retezár, an Austrian designer has invented a device that can extract water from the air and condense it into drinkable water. Called Fontus, it can be attached to a bike so that cyclists can generate water on long bike.
The solar-powered device consists of a condensator (which functions like a cooler) that is connected to a series of hydrophobic surfaces that repel water. As the bike-mounted gadget sucks in air, these surfaces get cold, and the water condenses in the bottle.
