The King of Jordan is a total badass at 56. He’s a graduate of the UK military officers academy, Sandhurst, a helicopter pilot, a jump master, and a soldier of 35 years. He is head of a constitutional monarchy and as head of the Hashemite kingdom he is custodian of the Christian and Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem. As a Muslim moderate he promotes interfaith understanding and peace – though he understands the need to defend himself and his country.
Here you can see him training with his son, Prince Hussein, a second lieutenant in the Jordanian Armed Forces who studied at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and also attended Sandhurst.
