It’s that time of year. Postcard photos, gifts and old-fashioned Christmas cards are dropping into our letterboxes ready to be opened and enjoyed. Unless you were educated when there were rules and spelling and punctuation weren’t optional.
Happy Holidays from the Smith’s

Here’s the rule. NO APOSTROPHES. Unless you’re going to write “Happy Holidays from the Smith’s dog, Spot.” If it’s a card from your family, no apostrophe. Here’s a handy dandy chart.
