Texas Governor Greg Abbott just signed legislation allowing the harvesting of feral pigs without a hunting license.
Feral pigs are a destructive invasive species, which are wreaking havoc on native plants and animals. The change recognizes that hog hunting is pest management and not hunting of a game species which needs to be maintained.
Well, these guys are ready for open season. In this great video, a group of Texas hunters load up their ATVs with laser-sighted shotguns to go hog hunting at night.
What do you think? Doesn’t this look like a great way to have fun and protect native species?
