‘Monty Python’, an 18-year-old female carpet python, was taken to the Small Animal Specialist Hospital after her family caught her swallowing a beach towel. An endoscope was placed down the snake’s mouth before vets used long forceps to pull the towel out – which was still completely intact. No one is quite sure why she ate the towel!
