The United States detonated two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945. This explosion may have been bigger.
It was certainly a huge blast.

It’s currently being explained as having been caused by welder’s sparks igniting ammonium nitrate at a nearby fireworks factory in Beirut, Lebanon but a major newspaper in the area Al Arabiya is now saying it was a Hezbollah munitions store.
