Back in 2022, when Lake was running for Arizona governor, she called late Arizona Sen. John McCain a “loser” and asked the crowd if there were any McCain Republicans in attendance, saying that if there were, to “get the hell out.” She later claimed to have been joking, and that John McCain would have laughed (we doubt it, he was an egotistical man) but the damage was done and his daughter Meghan took offense. Fair enough, she’s his daughter, we get it. McCain believes Lake has no chance in Arizona without the support of her family and friends.
This week Kari reached out to make amends in what looks to be a long, warm and genuine X post, offering to meet and chat and make amends.
Meghan McCain shot back, writing, “NO PEACE, BITCH!”
Here’s the Lake X post:
“Hi Meghan,
“As mothers, (both with two kiddos) I’m know we both agree that our children’s future is too important to let it slip away over past grudges or hurt feelings. That’s why I’m working hard to unite Republicans, Independents, Democrats — ALL Americans.
“We are facing huge challenges and it’s going to take ‘all hands on deck’ to pull things back from the brink.
“My dad passed away from cancer, too. I trust and believe that if our fathers were still with us they would do everything they could to save this Republic.
“Our movement to save Arizona & America is growing, and it’s Mama Bears like us who are leading the charge — ALL Moms want the same thing: to leave our children a better America than the one we had. It’s as simple as that.
“I want to make Senator McCain and Larry Lake proud.
“I value you. I value your family and I value the passion you have for our state. “I’d love nothing more than to buy you a beer, a coffee or lunch and pick your brain about how we can work together to strengthen our state. My team is sending you my contact info — if you’re willing to meet, it would mean a lot to me.
Thank you, Meghan. I hope we can connect soon! God bless.”
It looks legit to us.

John McCain was not perfect
And just a reminder of how classy our Korean war hero, stalwart globalist and never-Trumper could be. This is apparently an exchange he had with his multi-millionaire second wife, Cindy McCain, heiress to Hensley & Co., one of the largest Anheuser-Busch distributors.
This is allegedly true according to three eye-witnesses.
Looks like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
“Three reporters from Arizona, on the condition of anonymity, also let me in on another incident involving McCain’s intemperateness. In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain’s hair and said, “You’re getting a little thin up there.” McCain’s face reddened, and he responded, “At least I don’t plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you c**t.” McCain’s excuse was that it had been a long day.
