The World Health Organization (WHO) has told the US government to “secure”hundreds of millions of “preventative” bird flu vaccine doses manufactured by a Bill Gates-linked company.
U.S officials last week said they were moving bulk vaccine that closely matches the current virus into finished shots that could provide 4.8 million doses of vaccine. The vaccine is from Bill Gates-linked biotech company CSL Seqirus which has boasted the vaccine is essential for “pandemic preparement” in response to avian influenza.
Thee WHO currently assesses the risk to the general public as low. The US doses are for farmers, farm workers, veterinarians, and others closely linked to the cattle industry where the first cases have been detected.
