The move led to an outpouring of support from Hollywood donors and celebrities, including actors George Clooney and Jamie Lee Curtis, as well as rapper Cardi B.

The endorsement from the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees further solidified Harris’s backing from the entertainment industry.
