Joe Biden and Dr. Jill arrive in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, for a week in the sun at their friends’ $3 million home in St. Croix.
The owners of the Airbnb property, Bill and Connie Neville, are personal friends of the Bidens and known donors to the Democrat Party. The Bidens’ stay at the property would net them $6,000 were the family to pay.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has claimed that Biden has taken 570 vacation days in less than four years, which equates to roughly 40% of his presidency. This number includes days spent at his homes in Delaware, trips to vacation spots like St. Croix, Lake Tahoe, and Nantucket, as well as time at Camp David.
Defenders of Biden, including White House spokespersons, argue that the presidency is a non-stop job and that Biden can work from anywhere. They emphasize that even during these “vacation” days, he continues to perform presidential duties, suggesting that being away from the White House doesn’t equate to not working.
Critics have pointed out that this vacation time is significantly more than the average American worker receives annually, which is typically around 11 days per year. This comparison has led to comments suggesting that Biden’s vacation time would take the average American nearly 48 years to accumulate.
