Former President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump had what appeared to be a warm conversation ahead of former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral today, but a professional lip reader told The New York Post that their smiles hid something else.
Possibly wary of cameras facing them as they sat shoulder-to-shoulder in the pews, President- Elect Trump cautioned Obama that they would have to “find a quiet place” later in the day to discuss a “matter of importance,” according to forensic lipreader Jeremy Freeman.
NYPOST has more.
“I can’t talk, we have to find a quiet place sometime. This is a matter of importance and we need to do this outside so that we can deal with it, certainly, today,” Trump said, as Obama nodded.
At one point, Trump leaned toward Obama and said, “I’ve pulled out of that. It’s the conditions. Can you imagine that?”
At Jimmy Carter's funeral, Donald Trump and Barack Obama engaged in an unusually lengthy conversation, drawing attention from attendees.

Hillary and Bill Clinton made their entrance without acknowledging either Obama or Trump.

The fact that the two were relaxed with each other obviously frosted Kamala Harris.
Kamala isn’t even trying to conceal her emotions. She is visibly upset that Obama is talking to Trump… Hey, Kamala — you LOST. You can only blame yourself for your own misery.pic.twitter.com/N7JcjjFKMM
