Cellular networks and electrical power are currently down in most of Malibu and the Palisades. So, Elon Musk has diverted Tesla Cybertrucks from customer deliveries to serve as mobile power and Wi-Fi units in response to the LA wildfires.

These vehicles are equipped with Starlink devices to provide internet connectivity where power and cellular networks are down.
My friend who is working at the Palisades Command Center for the fire just texted me this:@elonmusk was at Basecamp earlier today handing out Starlinks and meeting everyone, as well as powering everything with Cybertruck.

Tesla and Elon are helping a ton during the LA fires. pic.twitter.com/YB349L6UY9
There are looters and shooters on the streets. Elon issued a warning to drivers of Cybertrucks driving around to give Starling access to civilians and emergency services. “DUCK!”
Yes. Please be careful in some areas, as there is non-zero risk of armed looters.

Cybertruck side panels are bulletproof to subsonic projectiles (handguns, shotgun & Tommy gun), but the glass is not, so make sure to duck if you see anyone wielding a gun.
This is not fiction. https://t.co/pISxsxLLj6
Thank you, @elonmusk, for sending a fleet of Cybertrucks and Megapacks to help the Sheriffs/LAPD be able to charge their equipment, EV’s and stations alongside providing the much needed food, water and supplies to victims of the wildfires.pic.twitter.com/8KlKpsrwAJ

Newsom bashes Musk instead of doing whatever it is he’s (not) doing to help Los Angeles
Newsom is driven only by political desires. While he allocates funds to attack President Trump, he finds time to pile on Elon Musk…

That is true of some people in California, and the press will of course accuse me of grandstanding, but, if this helps save even one house or maybe even someone’s life, we should still do it.

Mind where your donations are going
…and capitalize on the disaster to help his presidential campaign run.
So Gavin Newsom launched a website to fight fire disinformation but really it’s a political page for himself to launch his 2028 presidential run. You can even donate.
