Slipping under the radar, this transaction has sparked unease among some Americans, particularly regarding its implications for national security and ammo availability in wartime. CSG’s ownership raises questions about supply chain vulnerabilities. Critics, including Senators J.D. Vance and John Kennedy, warn that a foreign entity could prioritize exports to NATO allies or Ukraine during conflicts, potentially limiting U.S. civilian and military access to ammunition.
