It’s interesting that NATO and EU are not invited to the Putin/Trump summit in Alaska, and neither is the other protagonist, Zelinsky of Ukraine. In fact President Macron of France has confirmed that Trump’s goal is to get a ceasefire and that he has ordered that NATO will not be part of any Ukraine security guarantees. Trump has apparently said he hopes for a potential 3-way Putin, Trump, Zelensky meeting to be held at a ‘neutral country in Europe.’
