White House update! Clintons chime in. Why it’s not such a bad idea.

I actually think it’s a great idea to build a large ballroom on the White House grounds. It’s virtually impossible to hold events of any size there and they are always wasting millions on big tents and heaters and chairs and lights that look like a lawn wedding or homecoming. It’s not like we have Westminster Hall or the Palace of Versailles to host grand state dinners. We need this for gravitas. The East Wing was added in 1902, fully renovated in 1942, and had a facelift in 2004. It’s not part of the original structure and is only mildly historical.

But they whine anyway!

Stop acting like you have some emotional attachment to the East Wing. You don’t. You can’t even find the right photo online.

The best part about this faux outrage over Trump building a White House ballroom is that every future President, including Democratic administrations, is going to use it constantly because it’s an improvement.

It really will be The ‘White House’ when it’s all done.

JUST IN: The list of private donors for President Trump’s White House ballroom has been RELEASED.

Cue a cancel outburst. MSNBC will be especially pissed – they are owned by Comcast!

Just step away – you guys have nothing to say here – Lincoln Bedroom anyone?

Remember when the Clintons left with $190,000 worth of china, flatware, and sofas—that’s roughly $340,000 in today’s money—then got caught?
