So today, he withdrew himself from being Trump’s Attorney General pick, saying his confirmation was becoming a “distraction to the critical work” of the Trump transition.
Given that the president-elect’s response to him withdrawing from the AG nomination is so muted, we need to ask ourselves was this all a ruse to smoke out the anti-Trumpers?
With Marco Rubio going to State, there’s a spare Senate seat going in Florida which may be appointed at Governor Ron DeSantis’s pleasure. Let’s see whom he nominates.
