A recent study found that Gen Z adults are much more likely to identify as LGBTQ than older generations. NYPost.
More than 1 in 4 US Gen Z adults (mostly born 1997 to 2012) and often called Zoomers, identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer, a survey released by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) found. The survey found that 28% of Gen Z — adults aged 18 to 25 — identified as part of the LGBTQ community.
Only about 10% of all adults, 16% of millennials, 7% of Generation X, 4% of baby boomers and 4% of the Silent Generation identify as LGBTQ, according to the survey.
