Has environmentalism become a mental disorder?
Students at the far-left “Union Theological Seminary” placed an array of houseplants at the center of the school’s chapel this week so they could kneel down to “confess” the “harm they’ve done to plants.”
Today in chapel, we confessed to plants. Together, we held our grief, joy, regret, hope, guilt and sorrow in prayer; offering them to the beings who sustain us but whose gift we too often fail to honor.

“Today in chapel, we confessed to plants. Together, we held our grief, joy, regret, hope, guilt and sorrow in prayer; offering them to the beings who sustain us but whose gift we too often fail to honor. What do you confess to the plants in your life?,” the school preened on Twitter.
“We are in the throes of a climate emergency, a crisis created by humanity’s arrogance, our disregard for Creation,” the school falsely claimed.
They were joined by NBC News, which created a page on the network’s website so Americans could submit “Climate Confessions.”
“Even those who care deeply about the planet’s future can slip up now and then,” the page reads. “Tell us: Where do you fall short in preventing climate change? Do you blast the A/C? Throw out half your lunch? Grill a steak every week? Share your anonymous confession with NBC News.”
Among the “sins” “confessed” to NBC are:
* “I compost at home, but not at work”
* “I run a heavy equipment contracting company. We burn 28,000 gallons of diesel a month to build more stuff we don’t need.”
* “I go to Starbucks several times a week and I don’t bring a reusable cup.”
* “I fly to see my son on the west coast. I live on the east.”
* Falling asleep to the TV at night helps my anxiety, but I often forget to turn on the sleep timer.”
The attempt to make ecosocialism a religion coincides with an attempt by the political establishment to more aggressively brainwash Americans or bully them into compliance.
But is this really want plants want?
If environmentalists really wanted to worship and honor plants they would stop eating them and start producing more carbon dioxide.
