A pregnant woman fought off two armed home invaders who were beating and pistol whipping her husband last week.
One of the suspects was killed and the other fled the scene.
The husband, Jeremy King described the attack:
“They came in heavily hooded and masked. As soon as they had got the back door opened, they had a pistol on me and was grabbing my 11-year-old daughter.”
He indicated his wife grabbed the AR-15, shot and hit one of the suspects. That suspect “made it from my back door to roughly 200 feet out in the front ditch before the AR did its thing.”
No motive for the attack has been determined but the attackers were certainly serious in their desire to harm:
“I’ve got a fractured eye socket, a fractured sinus cavity, a concussion, 20 stitches and three staples in my head,” said King, outside his home in Lithia, FL. “I took a severe beating.”
For those who claim that no one needs an AR-15 for home defense, perhaps they should ask this pregnant woman who saved her family from certain tragedy because she out gunned her criminal opponents.
