Deep Snow Primitive Survival Camping in Mountains – Campfire Cooking on Shovel

We love these guys – a dad who practices and preaches timeless values, practical skills and that you get out of kids what you put into them! This is a masterclass in overcoming grueling adversity. He’s at altitude so he’s winded all the time but he still perseveres to build camp for him and the kids.

He says:

We love these backcountry bushcraft camping trips and this one was one of our best ever. I even managed to bust out some new campfire cooking recipes for campfire corn dogs and campfire doughnuts. And I cooked campfire beef fajitas using our aluminum survival shovel.
