The Mossos d’Esquadra (local police) in the Sabadell area of Barcelona, Spain detained a young woman on Wednesday after zapping her with a taser in front of a medical center where she had an appointment. She had become distressed because of COVID rules which did not allow her mother to accompany inside the medical center. When she got agitated the police tased her and arrested her. This is not the way to deal with patients outside a medical facility. The place was full of doctors and the woman was not armed, nor a significant threat.
But rules are rules and in this case these dumb rules are being stringently administered by over zealous cops hyped on the coronavirus fear being spread by authorities across the globe despite overwhelming evidence that COVID is NOT having a significant affect on death rates.
