First Osprey refueling on aircraft carrier – Hey fellas, what took so long?

A CMV-22B Osprey from the “Titans” of Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Squadron 30 (VRM 30) lands and refuels on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The CMV-22B Osprey is the replacement for the C-2A Greyhound for the Carrier Onboard Delivery (COD) mission. The CMV-22B will be Navy’s long-range, medium-lift element of aerial logistics and will transport personnel, mail and priority cargo from advance bases to the sea base.
