Afghanistan: Today’s Taliban Tally

Despite yesterday’s promises of “forgiven from A–Z” the Taliban are whipping or beating people trying to get to the airport. We could ask why the occupying military power decided not to secure the road to the airport…but the Biden Administration does not answer questions

Hero Ambassador refused to evacuate and is sitting in Kabul Airport signing UK visas for people who worked with British forces in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the country is trying to absorb illegal immigrants from Africa arriving daily by boat. The consequences of Afghanistan will have repercussions for many years to come.

The UK Ambassador to Afghanistan Sir Laurie Bristow says it’s “interesting” that the Taliban has chosen to support evacuations from the country, adding that they are working with the Taliban ‘at a practical, tactical level where we need to’.
