Pelosi Offends 62 Million Americans with Elite White Privilege Remark

62 million Americans, that’s 19% of the total population, identified as Hispanic or Latino in the 2020 census. So how do you they they felt when they heard this? Coming so soon off the Jill Biden “unique as breakfast tacos” remark, maybe they’ll begin to rethink their voting bloc tendencies?

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi suggested last week that Florida needs illegal immigrants to pick crops — revealing much about the Biden administration’s incomprehensible inaction at the border.

“Right now, the best thing that we can do for our economy is to have comprehensive immigration reform,” she said. What does immigration reform have to do with the economy? Pelosi (D-Calif.) helpfully clarified: “We have a shortage of workers in our country,” which is why, Pelosi claims, farmers are asking, “Why are you shipping these immigrants up North? We need them to pick the crops down here.” We must secure the border, Pelosi said, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t recognize “our moral responsibility.

Pelosi was excoriated for her comments, which were attacked:

    1. For endorsing hiring illegal workers.
    2. The racism inherent in assuming Central American migrants will be fieldhands.
    3. Strong “Who will pick the cotton?” vibes.

What she actually did was prove what we already knew. Democrats talk about immigration in moral terms but in fact, they think about immigration in economic terms. But not for individual people’s economics, they only support the interests of Big Business and their Dem cronies.
