Teachers union President Randi Weingarten is busy trying to airbrush her part in the schools lockdown that put our nation’s schoolchildren behind on their academic journey and led to innumerable mental heath issues and behavioral problems. She’s lying but the internet is forever and she’s being – rightly – called out. The tactic used mirrors the FactChecking of the Left’s Snopes, Politifact, etc. and uses a recently added feature from Musk’s Twitter called Community Notes.
Let me explain the hilarity here: Weingarten tweeted that she always was gung-ho about reopening schools, and it got Community Noted to death. PolitiFact wrote a defense of her, framed around rebutting those *specific notes*.
