Two Senators went to bat for the American people but were firmly shut down by both sides.
Senators John Kennedy and Rand Paul fought for us to see a breakdown of the treasure and materiel we are sending for this proxy Russia war. As a taxpayer I would like some oversight so that I might know why this money is going overseas instead of to housing the homeless, tackling the mental health and drug problems at home, fixing infrastructure, etc.
That’s $113 billion currently unaccounted for in a country famous for money laundering, drug and human trafficking, and all-round corruption.
Their motions were defeated.
