Washington has so far has approved four rounds of aid to Ukraine in response to Russia’s invasion, totaling about $113 billion.
Today, Ukrainian president Zelensky arrived at the United Nations to pass the hat around again. Yesterday, he fired all six of his deputy defense ministers with no explanation weeks after letting his top defense minister go. Despite the fact we’re paying their salaries he has not explained why. This is a familiar scenario, when the leader loses it and starts blaming everyone else.
Watch him stride through the UN building as if he owns the joint. In reality he is on his knees begging.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell will host an all-senators meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday, according to a leadership aide.
Zelenskyy is traveling to the U.S. to attend the annual U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday and Wednesday in New York. He will then travel to Washington to meet with President Biden at the White House on Thursday, national security adviser Jake Sullivan said last week.
His trip comes as the Biden administration is asking Congress to authorize $13.1 billion more in military funding for Ukraine. Congress is divided over additional funding, with conservative Republican lawmakers calling for an end in U.S. support. CBS
Last month, President Biden asked Congress to approve an additional $24 billion as part of a broader $40 billion emergency spending package.
