Chief Patrol Agent Robert Garcia of the United States Border Patrol’s Swanton Sector indicates his agents have apprehended more than 6,100 persons in the last 11 months. The apprehensions in the Vermont, New York and New Hampshire border sector are more than those in the last 10 years — combined.

GOP presidential nominee Vivek Ramaswarmy went to the Canadian Border and saw this Hiking Trail sign. He followed the trail and walked through an ankle-deep creek to cross into New Hampshire, presumably to “Live Free or Die”.
The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe has reservations on both sides of the US (Franklin County) and Canada (Ontario and Quebec) and travel across on the reservation is not regulated by either country. Large parts of NY-NH-ME have dirt roads and snowmobile trails going back and forth.
