I watched the rambling “I am honest” speech from Gov. Chris Christie so you don’t have to.
“It’s clear to me tonight that there isn’t a path for me to win the nomination,” Christie told voters at an evening event. “Which is why I’m suspending my campaign for president of the United States.”
He has “suspended his campaign” (they do that so they can keep fundraising but basically he’s out of the race) but not before having a go at President Trump for being a coward and interesting, not before accidentally dropping his very negative opinion on Nikki Hayley’s chances via a hot mic.
“She’s gonna get smoked,” he says. “You and I both know it, she’s not up to this.”
He also claimed “DeSantis called me, petrified that I would…”, then the feed was cut.
