Shock from Georgia confirms worst Constitutional fears

Georgia’s State Election Board met yesterday in the Georgia State Capitol. The SEB had already admitted in writing that Fulton County violated election law. The State Election Board reprimanded Fulton County and ordered an independent election monitor, finding that the county likely scanned over 3,000 ballots twice during the recount of the 2020 presidential election.

The Fans Willis trial which accused the former president of trying to overthrow the GA results is now tainted with more than just a sordid affair.

The Republican governor of Georgia signed a bill the same day that makes dramatic changes to how elections are run in the battleground state just months before the presidential election. The new law, SB 189, creates a new process for how counties can remove people’s voter registrations from the rolls, provisions that empowered grassroots activists on the right who have challenged thousands of registrations as ineligible, but that the secretary of state’s office have said provide limitations.

The Bill will be challenged by the ACLU.
