This man probably came to Canada to hide from his past. Suddenly, he’s centre-stage and the useful leftists idiots are applauding him.

Yaroslav Hunka is a Ukranian World War II veteran of the 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS, a Nazi Germany military formation. Hunka was born in Urman, then part of Poland, and volunteered for SS Galizien in 1943. He emigrated to Canada after the conclusion of World War II. Canada has spent decades overlooking and providing official cover for the Waffen-SS Galicia Division, an organization founded by the Nazis.

While Galicia Division recruits may have been attracted by the idea of eventually seeking a sovereign Ukraine through force, in joining the SS they had all sworn a personal oath of loyalty to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, and had their actions directed by Nazi German commanders.

In 1944, members of the unit would even be personally addressed by SS head Heinrich Himmler, usually credited as the primary architect of the Holocaust.

“Your homeland has become more beautiful since you have lost — on our initiative, I must say — the residents who were so often a dirty blemish on Galicia’s good name — namely the Jews,” said Himmler, according to an account in the book Hitler’s Foreign Executioners. National Post

According to Glen Greenwald on X: “Under Canada’s censorship laws, every single one of those members of Parliament who gave this Ukrainian SS fighter a standing ovation — along with Trudeau and Zelensky — would be guilty of various hate speech crimes, ones entailing prison terms.” But we all know that the only people we are permitted to call Nazis are conservatives.

Instead of feeling ashamed on Yom Kippur our WEF apparatchik just blamed it all on Russia. What a scumbag.
