As part of the debt limit deal last summer, Biden agreed to an automatic 1% cut to all discretionary spending if we were still on a CR on April 30 2024. Today, our Speaker will give up that leverage and pass an omnibus that spends more than Pelosi spent in her highest year. The omnibus includes $1.2 TRILLION of taxpayer dollars to be spend on disastrous policies, including another $300 million additional funding for Ukraine and wasted on items we do not have the money for and which should be no concern of the federal government.

FBI spending goes up significantly in the two-part omnibus that we won’t have time to fully read. This demonstrates that a majority of Congress isn’t serious about holding the FBI accountable. Including money for a new FBI building is a slap in the face to Americans.
