In a surprising turn of events at the Department of Education, a security guard managed to keep several members of Congress, including Rep. Maxine Waters, out of the building. This happened yesterday, amid talks about cutting the department’s budget or hopefully getting rid of it under President Trump. Watch the rude and dismissive way Waters flicks the guards security badge having demanded to see it.
What Happened:
Some Democratic lawmakers wanted to make a point about education policy by showing up at the Department. But they were stopped by a security guard who was just doing his job. The situation got tense when Rep. Waters asked if the guard was armed, but he kept his cool.
