President Trump’s announcement that he is cleaning house at the leftist Palace of Culture, The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and putting himself in charge, has DESTROYED the trendy, liberal, art scene.
If you’re politically in-tune, you know what a Leftist icon the Kennedy Center is to their faithful. What Trump has done cannot be overstated as a direct attack on the woke, Lefty crowd that, up until today, ran the place.
All of their snooty ideas. immediately rushed to the surface. Lee Greenwood and Carrie Underwood concerts and other “low-brow” performances will dominate while their more thoughtful “high-brow” experiences will bite the dust. As Trump specifically calls out drag shows targeting children, it is reasonable to assume he has something better in mind.
But still, the international elites prefer to sneer.

Remember, before he was in politics he was a New York billionaire, and through the Donald J. Trump Foundation he made donations to arts causes. While he is not particularly interested in plays, ballet and opera, he does have amazing connections. As President he is close allies with the home of opera, Italy; the home of kabuki theater, Japan; classical ballet, Hungary, Estonia, Czech Republic (and maybe one day the Russian Kirov and Bolshoi companies); world class orchestras, Berlin, Vienna, London.
He will get kick back from many leftist American actors, but the world has much to offer and it is more than possible that the Kennedy Centre may become an international attraction on his watch.
