The left loves to trot out its favorite lie every time an American gets slaughtered by an illegal alien: “Immigrants commit less crime than native-born Americans.” They never break out the illegal ones from the legals because that would expose the scam. Legal immigrants get vetted. Illegal aliens self-select by breaking the law first and often keep breaking it once they’re here. The body count proves it. These aren’t statistics on a spreadsheet. These are American kids, moms, and students beaten, raped, shot, and stabbed to death by people who had no right to be in the country in the first place. The murders keep coming, the left keeps lying, and the American people keep paying the price in blood.

The Slaughter That Never Stops

Start with the names the left wants you to forget. Laken Riley was a 22-year-old nursing student at the University of Georgia. On February 22, 2024, Venezuelan illegal alien Jose Ibarra beat her to death so savagely her skull was disfigured. Ibarra had been arrested for shoplifting weeks earlier and released – the usual catch-and-release genius that defined the open-border years. He wasn’t here to chase the American dream. He was here because the border was a revolving door.

Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old mother of five in Maryland, went out for a walk in September 2023 and never came home. Salvadoran illegal alien Victor Martinez-Hernandez raped and murdered her. He was a gotaway who had already killed a woman in El Salvador, assaulted a mother and daughter in Los Angeles, and then crossed the country to claim another victim. The guy didn’t come for work. He came to hunt.

Twelve-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray in Houston had her life ended on June 17, 2024. Two Venezuelan illegal aliens dragged her under a bridge, raped her, and killed her. Both were tied to the Tren de Aragua gang. They crossed the border months earlier, were released into the country, and went straight to work on an American child.

The hits didn’t stop when the calendar flipped. Sheridan Gorman, an 18-year-old Loyola University student in Chicago, was shot and killed in late March 2026 by 25-year-old Venezuelan illegal alien Jose Medina. Medina had already been arrested for theft in Cook County and turned loose. One prior brush with the law should have been enough to ship him out. Instead, he stayed and added murder to his resume.

Stephanie Minter, 41, was waiting at a bus stop in Fairfax County, Virginia, on February 23, 2026, when illegal alien Abdul Jalloh killed her. Jalloh had 30 prior arrests and a standing removal order. Thirty arrests. The system knew exactly who he was and still let him roam free until an American paid the ultimate price.

These aren’t isolated tragedies. In May 2025, six Honduran nationals aged 13 to 21 shot and killed Larisha Sharell Thompson during a botched robbery in Lancaster County, South Carolina. That same month in San Antonio, Honduran illegal Wilmer Vladmir Ortega Ruiz gunned down security guard Jimmy Friesenhahn in a bar, pumping rounds into his ballistic vest and neck. In December, 16-year-old Texas cheerleader Lizbeth Medina was stabbed to death in her apartment. The pattern is clear: illegal aliens who crossed under the old regime’s welcome mat are still here, still armed, and still killing.

The Pipeline That Delivered the Killers

Every one of these murderers got here the same way. They crossed the southern border illegally during the years when enforcement was treated like a suggestion. Some were gotaways who slipped past overwhelmed agents. Others were caught, processed, and released into American cities with a court date they never intended to keep. Many had criminal records back home – homicides, assaults, gang ties – but the system waved them through anyway.

The Venezuelan killers tied to Tren de Aragua didn’t sneak in to pick strawberries. They came because the border was wide open and the rewards were obvious: easy prey, weak laws, and sanctuary cities that treated ICE like the enemy. The Salvadoran gang member who murdered Rachel Morin had already fled justice in his own country before he added American victims to his list. These guys weren’t economic migrants. They were predators who used the chaos at the border as their personal invitation.

ICE operations in late 2025 and early 2026 rounded up more of the same – illegal aliens convicted of homicide, multiple murders, even quadruple homicides back home. One MS-13 leader from Honduras wanted for four killings in his country. Brothers from Mexico wanted for multiple murders there. A Laotian illegal convicted of murder in Minnesota. The arrests keep happening because the criminals are already here, embedded in communities, waiting for the next target.

The Left’s Numbers Game Is a Deadly Fraud

The left keeps insisting illegal aliens commit crimes at lower rates than native-born Americans. They bury the truth in aggregate stats that lump vetted legal immigrants with the self-selected lawbreakers who crossed illegally. Even when the data shows lower overall rates for some offenses, it misses the point. Every single murder by an illegal alien is one hundred percent preventable. These people should never have been here. Native-born criminals are our problem. Illegal-alien criminals are an imported one.

The non-detained docket tells the real story: thousands of convicted murderers, rapists, and assaulters walking free while waiting for deportation hearings that never come. The left calls this compassion. Americans call it insanity.

America First Means Ending the Import of Killers

This isn’t complicated. Secure the border. End catch-and-release. Deport the criminals first, fast, and without apology. No more releasing repeat offenders back into our neighborhoods. No more sanctuary policies that shield murderers from the only agency trying to remove them. The American people did not consent to turning their country into a dumping ground for foreign thugs.

The victims had names: Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, Jocelyn Nungaray, Sheridan Gorman, Stephanie Minter, and too many more. Their killers had one thing in common – they were here illegally and the system let them stay. The left can keep massaging its statistics. The rest of us will keep burying our dead until the border is closed and the invaders are sent home. That’s not hate. That’s basic self-preservation. And it’s long overdue.
