Ukrainian girl Olga Loiek discovered recently that her face and voice had been stolen and deepfaked on to various fictitious “Mandarin-speaking Russians” — April, Natasha, etc — marketing Russian food or rooting for Russia etc via livestreams on Chinese social media. Watch this. It’s a growing trend and it’s beginning to happen here.
