Is there an AG tough enough to use this against the student thugs and their backers?

RICO – It’s not just for MAFIA bigwigs!

RICO, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization acts, have been used successfully to prosecute organized crime figures for decades.  Starting with the federal law, passed in 1970, they give prosecutors a tool to go after, not just the perpetrators of a criminal act, but everyone involved in planning, enabling and financing that act.

Is it time to use RICO laws to go after those behind the crimes and egregious civil rights violations destroying college campuses and even our major cities?

Using RICO laws, an able prosecutor can go after the professional agitators, funders, organizers and leaders of the widespread anti-American riots happening right now.

I despair of any prosecutor in New York or California actually doing anything to stop these thugs.

But there is another option.

Texas has an Attorney General who is not afraid of the radical left:  Ken Paxton.

And the riots at University of Texas, Austin, give him standing.

Using RICO statutes, he can demand phone records, bank records, all communications and anything else that helps root out the higher-ups who are working diligently to destroy our nation.

And he can pressure thugs on the ground with long prison sentences to force them to give up their leaders.

Once he files a RICO action, Paxton  can start digging.  First, phone and online records.  He can find out who in the demonstrations has been communicating with outsiders.  He can then get the same records from the outside agitators and follow them up the tree.  Ultimately, he can dig out the planners and funders and prosecute them as well.

He can, with one lawsuit, save out nation from the fate we all see coming.
